Your website traffic is not relevant anymore

Here is what matters now.

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes and 03 seconds

Hello everyone, hope you all had a productive week.

I want to help you reach your online goals faster, and that’s why I’m introducing a new category for the newsletter called “AI tool of the week.”

Everything is AI nowadays, but I’ll help you filter the good vs. bad :)

Let’s dive in.

Did you know that website traffic isn’t as valuable as it used to be?

Search platforms like Google, YouTube, and even Reddit are now giving users answers directly on-site, meaning fewer clicks to your pages.

Even if you're getting clicks, traffic might just be a vanity metric

It looks great on a dashboard but often fails to drive real results like conversions or revenue.

But don’t worry, this isn’t all bad news.

It’s just time to focus on what actually matters. Instead of chasing pageviews, focus on tangible success signals like:

  • Conversions: Are people taking the next step with your brand?

  • Product Page Views: Are they interacting with what you offer?

  • Brand Engagement: Are you showing up where your audience spends time?

These are the metrics that will define growth in 2025 and beyond.

Search habits are changing!

Audiences aren’t just Googling anymore. They’re turning to AI tools like ChatGPT or communities on Reddit to get fast, personalized answers.

What does this mean for your brand?

  • You need to meet your audience where they are, not just on your website.

  • Be helpful and share valuable insights on platforms like Reddit, Quora, and other forums.

  • Focus on building trust off-site while showcasing your expertise authentically.

SEO isn’t dead, but growth today is about people first, page views second.

Think of these platforms as an extension of your brand. Be the go-to source that answers questions and adds value!

Where do you think your audience is hanging out these days? 🤔

Digital Marketing Simplified

Want more impressions for your brand immediately?

Here’s a simple tip:

Comment strategically on posts by big brands in your niche.

Find popular posts with high engagement and add thoughtful insights under your business account.

Not spammy promotions, but valuable input that gets you noticed.

This positions your brand as an authority while exposing you to a larger audience.

Try this across LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, and even X.
