Why ZARA and H&M are winning social media
And how you can make your brand memorable
Estimated reading time: 3 minutes and 15 seconds
Hey friends, hope everyone is doing well and your businesses are getting the most out of your online presence.
Today I want to discuss a topic that will help you offer a memorable experience every time you interact with a customer.
Is everyone ready?
Let’s dive in.
There are ways to make the customer experience memorable each time they are interacting with your business.
Think about all the benefits that could come because of that.
Referrals, brand advocates, and so many other things that come out of this.
Let’s take Zara and H&M as an example and what type of experience they are offering in store for their clients.
These two companies are offering more than clothes each time you are in their store.
The store concepts are nice, sure, but can you guess what’s added on top of that to make your experience better?
Music.
Yep, they have become masters at playing house music in store that resonates with their age demographics and will simply make your store experience memorable.
On top of that, people are creating memes online about their store experience and every comment is positive and basically everyone is saying that their music choice is excellent!
Look at this example: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLvJI_9OSAJ/
If you have the time, please read the comments as well.
Such a simple and brilliant strategy by their marketing teams.
Play amazing music and people will talk about it, which will increase your brand awareness without any kind of ads.
Absolutely brilliant!
Now how can you use this strategy?
Well, first of all, if you have a physical location, start playing music that resonates with your age demographic.
If you don’t know what music works best, ask your team members what they like or what they believe will work for your location.
How about online, you might ask? Well, here you have the chance to make every single customer interaction memorable.
Someone sends you silly questions over chat? Answer that in a funny way and they will 100% share that with their friends.
Does anyone have a special request for your service? Go the extra mile and offer an amazing experience for them and even offer it without charging anything (if it’s really special).
Email marketing? Talk about real life trends and connect your products or services to those. Examples:
That meteorite shower tonight? You will look stunning in these outfits.
We want to give you something that you cannot afford to lose this festival season. Protect your hearing with our stylish earbuds.
Planning that Paris trip? Here are 10 outfits/locations that will make your photos memorable.
ChatGPT 5 is out now but that will not fix your slow website.
Black Friday deals? Nope! More like rewarding our most loyal customers!
We don’t want to scare you this Halloween, but you really need us (push your services, product).
Christmas is all about family and we want to thank you for being part of our family.
I can come up with a million examples but let’s stop here.
In conclusion, how can you offer a better experience overall for your customers?
Think about when you went on a holiday and the hotel staff left you champagne on the table in your room. Isn’t that something memorable?
How can we replicate that for your business? More on that below.
