Why cheap, fast, and good is a trap.
You can’t have it all, and you shouldn’t try to.
Estimated reading time: 1 minutes and 58 seconds
Hey friends, hope you had an amazing and productive week!
Today I want to talk about something that’s often neglected, and that is the prices that you pay for digital marketing services.
This is gonna be a good one :)
Ready?
Let’s dive in.
There is a saying in business:
“You can have it cheap, fast, or good. Pick two.”
Chasing all 3 can be disastrous for your social media or advertising efforts.
Chasing all three often leads to poor results, wasted budget, and a damaged brand.
Here is why:
1. Cheap and Fast Rarely Converts
Need an ad campaign launched tomorrow at bargain rates?
You’ll likely get generic creative, weak strategy, and poor targeting.
Low-budget speed comes at the cost of depth and impact.
2. Cheap and Good Takes Time
Some freelancers and boutique agencies offer great work at reasonable rates, but they’re often stretched thin.
Expect delays, lack of responsiveness, and long turnaround times.
Good work takes time, and cheap rates usually mean you’re not their top priority.
3. Fast and Good Isn’t Cheap
Want high-performing ads, custom strategy, and rapid execution?
That requires experienced talent and serious focus.
It’s worth all the money, but it won’t be the lowest quote on the market, and that my friends is a good thing.
Bottom Line:
In digital marketing, trying to get cheap, fast, and good is a trap.
You might save money up front, but you’ll lose far more in underperformance and missed opportunities.
Invest in teams that are worth your time and budget.
Because in marketing, just like in business, you get what you pay for.

Digital Marketing Simplified
Brands that use fewer marketing channels (just 1–2) can actually have higher ROI than those using everything available.
Why?
Focusing your time and budget on just a few key platforms helps you connect better with your audience, create stronger content, and track results more easily.
In digital marketing, keeping it simple often works better than trying to do everything at once.
