Simple hack to skyrocket your online reviews
Estimated reading time: 1 minutes and 38 seconds
Hello everyone, welcome back to another edition of doyousocial.
Today, we will focus on your most important digital asset:
Reviews.
Let’s get into it.
I’ve talked about reviews many times before, and I strongly believe they are the most important thing you can focus on for your business.
Your online reputation is everything, and if you neglect it, your business will suffer.
Think about it… what do customers do before buying a product?
Yep, they read the reviews.
Same for service-based businesses.
Your reviews are everything!
Ok, so how can you get more reviews?
I recently discovered a brilliant strategy shared by Alex Hormozi, and he basically explains what people get wrong about reviews.
Business owners make the mistake of asking for reviews themselves.
But customers don’t feel connected to the business owners; they feel connected to the people who helped them, your employees.
Alex Hormozi explains how you can use psychology to get more positive reviews for your business with a simple message.
Ask your team to surprise your customers with a small gift or an extra service.
Then, you, as the owner, send a message to the customer:
“Hey [name], [employee] told me how much they enjoyed [serving] you. They get a [$50] bonus if you leave them a 5-star review sharing your experience. Would you mind taking 2 minutes to help them out?"
Why does this work, you might ask?
The customer would like to return the favor for the small gift/extra service.
The customer feels they're helping the employee, not the business.
This simple strategy will skyrocket your reviews.

How can you get more local business for free?
The answer is Google Business Profile.
I see many businesses that don’t have accurate information on their Google Business Profile, and they could get so much business locally just by adding accurate business hours, high-quality photos, and encouraging customers to leave reviews.
Good to know:
TikTok’s sale deadline has been delayed another 75 days.
PayPal just launched personalized ads in the UK. Yep, you can run ads on PayPal starting in July.
