🤖 Avoid becoming a "soulless" business
And use AI correctly
Estimated reading time: 2 minutes and 46 seconds
Hello everyone! This week I want to talk with you about a topic that’s spreading online quickly, and that’s AI.
But first, I would like to take a second to thank everyone who joined the newsletter lately. I appreciate your support!
Now let’s dive in.
Should you use AI to create content for your business? The short answer is yes.
However, a lot of people are using it wrong, and their business will become a soulless brand online.
How can you avoid that? It’s all about the prompt.
There are millions of businesses that create generic AI content for their business, and it’s wrong on so many levels.
Each time I see texts with words like “Unleash” and “Enhance,” it’s a clear indication that this content was written with AI, and it’s generic. I’m not saying that every social media post that contains “Unleash” or “Enhance” is AI written, but you will notice these things once you learn how to use AI correctly.
One thing is certain, and that is AI is here to stay, and we can use it properly to create content for our business.
I actually encourage you to use it to save time and encourage your team to use it.
Action step:
Instead of asking ChatGPT or another tool to create generic social media posts, use this prompt:
Act Like a Social Media Manager:
Prompt: "Imagine you're the social media manager for [Business Name]. Your goal is to create engaging and authentic content that resonates with your audience. Use the following prompts to craft posts that highlight your brand's unique story, values, and customer impact."
Now that AI knows what we want, let’s continue:
Share Behind-the-Scenes Stories:
Prompt: "Describe a recent behind-the-scenes moment at [Business Name] that showcases your team's hard work, creativity, or a unique aspect of your process. Highlight any challenges faced and how they were overcome."
Example: "Ever wondered how our [Product] is crafted? Last week, our team faced a challenge with [specific challenge], but after hours of [effort/solution], we nailed it! Here's a sneak peek into our creative process and the dedication that goes into every [Product]."
Customer Success Stories:
Prompt: "Share a story of how [Business Name]'s [Product/Service] made a significant impact on [Customer Name]'s life. Include specific details and quotes from the customer to make the story relatable and inspiring."
Example: "Meet [Customer Name], who struggled with [specific problem]. With our [Product/Service], [he/she/they] now [specific outcome or benefit]. '[Customer Quote],' [Customer Name] says. We're thrilled to make a difference!"
Personal Insights and Values:
Prompt: "Write a post about a core value or principle that drives [Business Name]. Share a personal anecdote or experience that illustrates why this value is important to you and your brand."
Example: "Integrity is at the heart of everything we do at [Business Name]. I remember a time when we faced a tough decision regarding [specific situation] that could have compromised our values. Choosing the right path wasn't easy, but it reinforced our commitment to honesty and transparency."
That’s it! Now feel free to create your own prompts using this model and create your social media content calendar for the next 30 days.
Don’t be afraid to ask your AI tool what other topic ideas you should use for your content calendar. The more information you provide, the better the results will be.
I personally use jasper.ai, but there are many other tools that can do this, like ChatGPT or Google’s Gemini.
Good to know:
Google: over the past 6 months, the volume of searches with five or more words grew 1.5x
Instagram: shares are one of biggest signals for ranking content
Apple: local business owner? Apple Maps is now available in beta on the web. New potential clients are ready to see your business so make you keep your listing accurate.
