Hey friends, how is everyone doing?
Reply to this email with your digital marketing struggles, and I will get back to every single one of you.
I took a break last week, in case you were wondering why there were no amazing digital marketing tips in your inbox. :)
Something interesting happened recently, and I want to talk about that because it can affect every single one of us.
OpenAI has announced that ChatGPT + Shopify = happy buyers.
Let’s dive in.
OpenAI has introduced Instant Checkout, which lets users purchase products directly from ChatGPT without leaving the chat.
The partnership between OpenAI, Shopify, and Etsy is massive, and it will change the way users buy products online.
I’ve used ChatGPT many times for product research for personal and business reasons, and it’s really good at suggesting what you are looking for.
But what does it mean for business owners?
Now it’s more important than ever to focus on great product titles and descriptions.
Ask your previous clients for reviews to build trust.
Be active on social media to create awareness for your products.
And all of those things that you should do anyway but perhaps you skipped a few of them because they were not really needed.
Well, now things are about to change because ChatGPT will scrape your website to provide users with the right information, and if you have this information available… guess what happens? :)
You will be featured in the conversations, and you will have a new sales channel without you doing anything.
Imagine reaching people for free, for which you would normally have to pay a lot of money in ads.
Basically, these people are looking for you on the internet, and they can find you quickly with the help of ChatGPT.
Amazing, isn’t it?
